Meet our Medulloblastoma Warrior- Walter better known as Wally! He just completed intensive brain cancer (March 2026) treatment that included surgery, proton radiation and chemotherapy. Treatment for pediatric brain cancer has not evolved for decades and our kids deserve better!

Wally is a joyful, empathetic, funny, quick-witted, faith-filled, Lego-loving child! He is the youngest of two and shares a strong bond with his sister Emmy. Both of them love martial arts and have a certain ninja-like resilience that has been amazing to watch.

Even when Walter couldn't really talk after his initial craniotomy, he was singing in his sleep and it went something like this, "I am blessed, I am blessed, I am happy in my chest". As parents we want to be brave and grateful like our little boy. This diagnosis has tested Walter and our family in ways we couldn't have imagined but we are thankful for our community of prayer warriors who have walked with us and an All-mighty, good and loving God who has worked miracles for our son.

This picture of Wally at the beach is a symbol of our return normalcy and gratitude for every moment of life and love that the Lord gifts us.
I leave you with Wally's favorite verse Exodus 14:14 "The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still"
