David was diagnosed with DIPG at the age of 6 in April 2018. He completed five courses of radiation, participated in a trial and took several different types of chemotherapy. David Jr died at the age of 9 in May 2021. He enjoyed Power Rangers, Pokémon, Lego, traveling, riding roller coasters, building sand castles and looking for shells. His catch phrase as he called it was "Make Every Day The Best Day Ever" and lived by it. David Jr became an advocate for children facing cancer and even met with Federal and State officials to spread awareness and increase funding. Follow his legacy at Davids Adventure on Facebook.
