Claire was a strong, smart and beautiful girl. A fiery young girl from North Texas, Claire loved school, pink, and being the boss. Tragically at just 8-years-old Claire was diagnosed with diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG).

With bravery and grit, along with top-notch treatment research, and her dog Lucky, Claire lived three years past her date of diagnosis. Three years is better than three months, but that’s not good enough.  In December 2009, Claire passed away at 11-years-old. She was brave, tenacious, kind and a hero to many.
