Meet Emery, age 13. Emery is a bright, compassionate, and determined young man from Valdosta, Georgia. A gifted STEM Academy student, Junior Beta member, and Honor Roll student, he dreams of one day attending MIT to become a robotics engineer. He loves sports, video games, anime, and manga, and is a devoted big brother to his three younger siblings. After being diagnosed with DIPG on 7/13/26, Emery has lost the ability to walk and communicate easily, but his courage continues to inspire everyone around him. His mother and siblings are standing beside him as he begins treatment, cherishing every moment and holding onto hope.
