For many months Easton was slowly declining and "sick". We had him in and out of doctors offices, emergency rooms and urgent cares and were sent home misdiagnosed every time until December 17th 2025 when I refused to leave the hospital and finally devos agreed to admit him and asked for our hometown hospital to run a cat scan where they found the issue. A large tumor on the back of his brain blocking all spinal fluids and slowly taking my son little by little. Two days later he had a 13 hour surgery where they were able to take 100% of the mass out. 5 days after that on Christmas eve we received the news that forever changed our family. Our 2 year old baby boy had cancer. Medulloblastoma...which we later found out was caused by Gorlin Syndrome a genetic mutation he spontaneously developed. After doing the most aggressive pediatric chemotherapy and BMT, being admitted for the greater part of December 17th 2025 until May 28th 2026 and him fighting like I've never seen anyone do, he was able to ring the bell on July 8th 2026! This boy is truly inspiring and has overcome so much in the last 8 months.
