Hadley was diagnosed with anaplastic posterior fossa A ependymoma on October 29, 2019 at 22 months old. She received radiation and has been NED for 6 years. Her recent scan on MRI picked up a new lesion that was concerning for recurrence. We had to endure a brutal 3 month wait for a repeat MRI and Lumbar puncture. We got her MRI results and her brain lesion is stable but a new conspicuous lesion was found. She also had a lumbar puncture yesterday which we are waiting results. So we’re back to waiting another 3 months for a repeat scan. It is truly a never ending diagnosis, even once deemed NED. The fear never ends. We will continue to fight and pray for Hadley and all other kids fighting cancer.
