Macy is the sweetest girl and so polite. She says “thank you” no less than 50 times a day. When she was born, she was literally the most perfect baby in the entire world! She has the most beautiful brown eyes and the most infectious smile and laugh. I always joke with my husband because she’s the only one who will laugh at his dad jokes, because if she hears someone else laugh she will too. She knows close to 100 signs because during her 180 inpatient days during treatment she would always watch baby signing time on repeat. One nurse stated so well, “if you don’t know Baby Signing Time, then you don’t know Macy.” During her inpatient stays, she loved to ride in the hallways in her little pink car. We are currently on our way to start 6 weeks of proton at Cincinatti Children’s and once again, our crew is split apart with our older 2 children are at home with family. However, we know this strong girl is going to do so well and we pray she will be cancer free soon!
