Buxton suddenly went blind 12/27/25 completely out of the blue. After we rushed him to TCH we soon found out that he had a large brain tumor on the back of his brain that needed to be removed immediately. He underwent major brain surgery 12/28/25. 12/29/25 we found out it was Stage 4 Medulloblastoma and it had already spread all over his brain and down his spine. 1/1/26 he started his first Radiation Treatment. 1/4/26 he underwent a second major surgery to have a VP Shunt put in. 1/6/26 he had his port put in. All of these surgeries plus radiation, chemo and Posterior Fossa Mass Syndrome, but yet our baby defied so many odds. He underwent 29 radiation treatments before he got to ring the gong at MD Anderson on 2/12/26. 

We spent 47 days admitted in TCH Main Campus during which Bux had many many trials and tribulations, but the faith our son has in God was never shaken. We tell his testimony thus far to every person we meet. God is so good and has worked so many miracles for Bux already. He is considered legally blind, but we are praying for his vision to be restored when the cancer is officially gone. We go back to TCH 3/16/26 to start 6 months of rough chemotherapy, but we have full faith that he will do amazing and kick this cancer in it’s tail. We feel that we were called on to spread God’s grace, love and mercy through Buxton’s victories. Buxton has earned the nickname Super Bucky and is so very loved by anyone who meets him. #BuxtonStrong forever.
