Meet Grayson
Grayson is a sweet, kind-hearted second grader who loves his family and takes great pride in being a big brother to his sister, Adalynn. He’s not only the best big brother, but also a gentle caretaker of animals. With three dogs, two cats, and an axolotl already at home, Grayson is always eager to rescue and welcome new pets into the family.
When he’s not playing with his animals, Grayson loves baseball. He is a proud member of the Mason Challenger Mudhens. Originally from Northeast Ohio, Grayson and his family moved to Cincinnati to be close to the incredible team at Cincinnati Children’s. Since moving, he has embraced his new city wholeheartedly—becoming a Bengals fan, even if his parents still cheer for the Browns.
At just three years old, Grayson was diagnosed with hereditary Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease. Less than a year later, doctors in Cleveland also discovered hydrocephalus and what they believed was a Tectal Glioma. After enduring several difficult surgeries, Grayson’s care was transferred to Cincinnati Children’s, where he underwent two additional procedures and remained stable for a time. However, a spring 2025 MRI showed new changes, and his family is now awaiting next steps in his treatment.
