In September 2023, doctors found a tumor the size of a baseball in the back of Kaden's brain. Kaden went through an eight-hour surgery, and the medical team at Children's of Alabama was able to remove all of the tumor, but then he and his family faced another obstacle. He formed posterior fossa syndrome, where he lost the ability to talk, eat, and move his arms and legs. Through help from Children's Hospital PT, OT, and speech therapy, plus a lot of grit, Kaden has come so far. With the help of our community, Kaden is continuing PT 3 times a week. The love and support our community has given us has helped us through many challenges.
