Our sweet Amélie is three years old, full of light, laughter, music, and dance. Last year, she was diagnosed with medulloblastoma, a rare and aggressive brain cancer. With incredible courage, she underwent surgery to remove her first tumor and then bravely completed months of intensive chemotherapy. We celebrated when she was declared in remission in December, believing the hardest part was behind her.

This spring, during her first post-treatment scans, we learned the cancer had returned. She completed salvage chemotherapy and radiation, but unfortunately, she now has several new tumors in her cerebellum and a possible spot on her spine.

Despite this devastating news, Amélie continues to shine with joy, twirling in her tutu, singing to her favorite songs, and filling our days with smiles and wonder. Today, we stand at a crossroads. Doctors are helping us consider the next steps, surgery, shunt placement, or possibly clinical trials, all while weighing what will give Amélie the best chance and the most love-filled days ahead.

Through it all, Amélie teaches us daily what it means to be brave. She embodies grace, resilience, and joy, even in the face of something so unfair and heavy. Our hearts are broken, but our hope and love for her are endless.
