Haylee was diagnosed this April and 4 days before her 19th birthday. It has been such a whirlwind. She had brain surgery within 1 week of first symptoms. So basically we found out, she was hospitalized, diagnosed, put on medication and had brain surgery all within 1 week. We are learning to find our new normal but Haylee is my Hero! She is so strong and taking it all like a Champ! I love my baby girl and I want nothing more than to go back to how things were but this is our reality now and she has taken to it with such grace that I could not be more proud of her. She is using this time to write and illustrate her own children’s book about telling children that a family member has cancer. She truly is my Heart. ❤️
