JJ was always smiling and always loved being with his family, best friends and baseball team. He had strong faith, a dedication to Padre Pio. 

His favorite scripture passage was Sirach 6:14-15:
14 A faithful friend is a strong defence: and he that hath found him, hath found a treasure. 15 Nothing can be compared to a faithful friend, and no weight of gold and silver is able to countervail the goodness of his fidelity.…

During his illness he continued to pitch on his baseball team and on his last basketball game had a season high 13 points.  You would never see JJ without his smile and he hugged everyone.  He loved singing country music especially the 80s/90s. He would even talk his teachers into playing it during class.  I could go on for days about my sweet beautiful happy boy. JJ never ever wanted to draw attention to himself. He never wanted special treatment. He never wanted a privilege because of the tumor.  He was humble and sweet. The world is less than since he left us February 13 2025.
