Olivia was the silliest little girl you could ever meet. She loved firetrucks and unicorns and loved being chased by "daddy monster".  When she wasn't at home playing with her little brother, she enjoyed going to school and being with friends and family. She was outgoing and had a "three stooges" type of humor. She loved to make people laugh and when prompted would do the silliest robot impersonation, I can still hear her saying "beep, bop, boop, bop". She loved reading and could often finish stories before we could finish them. She loved being outside and swinging "higher" was her favorite thing of all time.

Our family was devastated when we received her diagnosis on January 27th, 2025. What we thought was a routine MRI turned into a nightmare and the beginning of an inspirational fight that will live with us and those who knew her forever. 

The disease changed Olivia in ways that we never anticipated but it also forced us to see how much courage and strength she had. The heart of this little girl inspired so many and continues to do so.

Olivia lost her battle to DMG on March 7th, 2026, the same day as her brother's 3rd birthday. We said there was no way she was going to miss it and we also knew that she wouldn't want us to be sad on this day moving forward.  

The Cure Starts Now has stood beside us throughout this difficult journey as they do so many other families. Without them and some other homegrown organizations, these children have no chance. We wont stop fighting because Olivia never did.
