Our brAvery girl was diagnosed with a rare genetic syndrome called Li Fraumeni Syndrome in 2023. This was found in myself, Avery & her little brother Lincoln during my treatment for breast cancer. During her yearly monitoring she started developing some strange symptoms such has speech changes, drooling, and changes in her balance. After a long month of ER visits she finally had a whole body MRI where they immediately were able to diagnose her with DIPG. She is going on month 4 of fighting this awful disease. This is only the beginning but our girl has been giving it her all to fight!

Avery is a very smart, caring, determined and sassy 7 year old little girl. When I was fighting my own cancer 2 years ago she was one of my biggest supporters. Always being there to wipe my tears and make me laugh. She has been a lover of all things unicorn since the moment she discovered them. Which I find very fitting for her because she is such a rare, beautiful soul. She is a little momma to all littles around her. She loves horses, dogs, cats, pretty much all animals. Her favorite things to do are playing UNO (she is seriously so good), playing with her friends, going to school, or doing anything outdoors. Before she was diagnosed she was the “monkey bar queen” she would have blisters on her hands but that wouldn’t stop her!
