Kohen was 18 months old when she had a short fall that caused severe grand mal seizures that were deemed uncontrollable. Once stabilized through trauma at our local children's hospital, a CT showed a mass located on her brain stem her tumor was found incidental because of the fall. A week later she had a craniotomy in Memphis TN with intent of full resection, unfortunately her tumor showed signs of infiltration so they were only able to do biopsy. She is now a St Jude patient and has stayed stable for a year, her last scan showing slight growth. She has a scan next week we are hopeful for great results! She continues to have seizures and also breath holding spells, headaches are also a new symptom as well. She is full of sass, and also the sweetest little snuggle bug, she really completes our family and we all love her very much!
