Maximus was diagnosed with DMG on 2.2.22 when he was 11 years old.  Despite being given a prognosis of 12-18 months, he is still currently battling almost 3 years later.  Max has taken all of the challenges of his diagnosis with humor and fun.  He loves to entertain his team at Seattle Children's Hospital with mildly inappropriate jokes and his signature lucky Cheez-it socks.  Max continues to remind those around him to be thankful for what they have by his joyful attitude, despite everything he faces.  He loves trying new foods and snacks, taking pictures on adventures with his family and watching all his dogs do ridiculous things around the house.
