Around 7 months old Damian started tilting his head to the left and we made an appointment to see his primary doctor. His pediatrician suggested it could be a vision issue and referred us to see an ophthalmologist and neurologist. On a Friday he was diagnosed with cranial nerve palsy. The following Monday the neurologist CT scanned him as a precaution, the next morning we were admitted to PICU. That same week he underwent brain surgery. Four weeks after we begin his chemotherapy treatment. Tomorrow he will undergo his second round of chemo.
