Viviana “Vivi” was 2 years old when she was diagnosed with a brain tumor at Duke. After surgery, we went to CHOP for treatment. We lived in hospital for 4 months consequently. After, we still lived in and out for several weeks due to treatment, sickness and everything ugly that comes with childhood cancer. Although this disease was inside her, she radiated the opposite emotion because she was always a happy, playful, full of joy and all around a loving child. I was blessed to have a sweet, calm baby. My first and only baby. She fought for almost two years until she took her last breathe on July 9th. Viviana never let anything stop her from being happy and playing her toys. We miss her so much but we are at peace knowing she is in a better place watching over us. My forever guardian angel. She is Forever 4.
