Our son Evan was diagnosed on March 14, 2024, this year.
I'm sure like most parents, and families this is the hardest news you receive and ever have to go through, and it has come as a complete shock to our family.
Once we received this news, Evan was scheduled for surgery 6 days later, on March 20th.
Two days before surgery, Evan was baptized and gave his life to the Lord. We are honored to be his parents and many close family members were there to support Evan's decision to show his love for Christ.
Evan was working two jobs and a Freshman at the University of UC. While working two jobs he managed to make Deans list his first semester.
Evan has always been a hard-working and caring young man. Evan is loved and admired by so many people.
We have started Team Evan #Our Hero support team.
The support and love are overwhelming. Team Evan is touching people across the US and international friends.
We have team Evan bracelets, t-shirts, hero cookies, and a hero flag.
Evan spent 25 days at Cincinnati Childerns Hospital after surgery.
He has completed six weeks of Proton and chemotherapy, on June 7th, 2024.
Evan will start his second round of chemotherapy in July as we and prepare for the Olympics.
We have not left his side for one day and will continue to fight and win the battle.
He is our hero and want the world to know.
