Braylei's journey began the day after her 7th birthday.  The weeks of headaches and vomiting escalated to seizures, and a coma.  After being rushed to Riley's Children's Hospital, we learned that Braylei had hydrocephalus and a mass.  Braylei was diagnosed with DMG and given 8-12 months.  Braylei was a complete "warrior unicorn" for the next 16 months as she lived everyday bringing smiles, laughs, and love to every person that she met.  Braylei sadly traded in her sword for unicorn wings on May 1st 2024. Her family is continueing her fight to bring awareness to DMG and keep Braylei's mission of making sure no other kids ever go through the things she went through.
