On November 10th, 2023, Finley was complaining of dizziness and facial sagging on one side. On November 11th, 2023, Finley (5) was diagnosed with DIPG, a cancerous tumor on her brain stem. Doctors explained this is an aggressive form of cancer with life expectancy of 9 months to 2 years. Their world had been completely flipped upside down. As the holidays were approaching, it left the family wondering if this was her last. Everyone in the community came together to find ways to enrich her remaining time. Finley went to Jesus on February 14th, 2024.

She fought hard for 3 short months but I don’t really remember a day that we didn’t the CSN team cheering us on and helping guide up through what was the most difficult time in our lives.
