Evan was in the last week of ninth grade when he was diagnosed with 2 tumors on his brain on 5/26/23. On June 1st was resection of the largest tumor ( the size of a cutie orange). The 2nd tumor is to risky to remove. About 5 days later he developed PFS and hydrocephalus. On June 8th he had an EVD placed. On June 14th medical staff decided to transfer him to CHOA. On June 15th he had the VP shunt placed.  He began rehabilitation and also received proton radiation at Emory that begun on June 27th. He will begin chemo in our hometown of SC the day after is 16th birthday. Evan is a brave strong warrior.
