Isaac was diagnosed with a brain tumor and ultimately Medulloblastoma in July of 2023. He went through multiple surgeries, radiation at Mayo and chemo at Sanford Children’s Hospital in Fargo, ND. 

Sadly Isaac passed away on March 23rd, 2024 at the age of 9. 

Isaac loved sports, mostly baseball, basketball, soccer and golf. He was and still is a very well loved little boy. He loved Spider Man, Minecraft, Fortnite and fishing. He was all things boy. But with the biggest heart. 

Research on pediatric brain cancer or any kind of brain cancer is important to me because I hope that with research we can save more children unlike we were unable to save Isaac. So we can learn more about what causes the tumors. How we could prevent the tumors. How we can save our babies."- Sam Lauf, Isaac's mom.
