Francisco loved to show everyone his TCSN bracelet with his slogan, “Pizza, NASA and kicking DIPG!” always with a big air punch or kick, and always saying “take that, DIPG!” after the many victories he experienced on this earth. Our son, along with many other beautiful brain cancer angels, now get to rest after their fight, but we need to keep on helping the ones that are still in the midst of it here on earth. Francisco was the most energetic and joyful little guy.He had a very special way of touching people’s hearts.

In a very “Chino” fashion (his maternal great-grandpa who passed away, and who Francisco was super close to), he always would make doctors and nurses laugh, and always had a huge smile ready for everyone. There wasn't a single surgery, procedure or treatment that he wasn't wheeled off to while happily smiling and waving away. 

Francisco’s DIPG diagnosis was devastating for our friends and family. Mom and dad’s hearts broke the second that diagnosis was known. But it was Francisco, and his way of always living life ‘with gusto’, that kept us all smiling and joyfully walking down this terrible path. It was his joy and love that made all our hearts feel happy and warm. It was his fearlessness of life and death that made us embrace every moment and truly celebrate every second we were blessed enough to spend with him. He was a gift to everyone that met him. ❤️
