Evan was diagnosed with medulloblastoma October 2022. He endured proton radiation and intense chemotherapy for just over a year. In January 2024 Evan rang the bell signifying the end of his battle with cancer. Before, during, and after cancer Evan has been an energetic sports loving boy. His goal, along with his parents and care team, was to try to stay as active and “normal” as he could. Just like any other preteen he just wanted to fit in. Losing his hair was hard, getting sick was hard, losing some of his stamina was hard. Evan didn’t let any of that stop him though. He continued going to school, playing sports, and hanging out with friends and family. He wanted to  fight hard and prove how strong he is. 

Evan was able to ring that bell but every three months we are reminded that this could all come back again when he goes in for his MRIs. We are also reminded that there are a lot of kids who don’t ever get to ring the bell. We pray a cure can be found and are thankful for donors like you who choose to support kids fighting for their lives.
