Our son was born in Salamanca, Spain and his family has been serving as missionaries now in Logroño, Spain for the last 8 years. Ian is an American and grew up all his life in Spain, only going back to the USA for less than a total of a year in order to visit family, churches and friends. Ian is bilingual and he loves to play futból (soccer) with his team in Logroño. Ian is an adventurous young boy who likes to try new things and regularly eats sushi, baby squid, lots of fish and many foods that pertain to the Mediterranean diet.

Ian was saved at the age of 6 and has had a burden to reach his friends and neighbors with the gospel.  Since returning to the USA for treatment and care Ian was baptized by immersion in the church, wanting to make a public declaration that he is a born again believer and seeks to live his life in obedience to the Lord's will. Although being diagnosed with DIPG has been life altering his love for the Lord and his desire to serve others have remained constant.These days Ian loves building legos, playing games with his sisters, fishing and going on adventures with his family.

Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
